The brand offers leather jackets, pants, and other apparel, as well as leather shoes.
Drawing inspiration from classic items born from various cultures,
the brand creates leather items with a modern sensibility. A LEATHER views leather craftsmanship as a form of "recycling" that dates back to the Paleolithic era 2 million years ago, when animal hides from hunting were used to create clothing and tools. The brand uses animal hides, which are by-products of meat and dairy consumption,
to create leather items that can be cherished for a long time.
A key feature is that the brand does not use the hides of animals raised solely for their fur or exotic skins, such as reptiles. A LEATHER also emphasizes the inheritance of manufacturing techniques, such as tanning hides into leather, cutting each part individually, and artisans sewing an entire garment. The brand pursues leather craftsmanship together with leather tanners and sewing factories. Most of the raw hides used in its products are
produced in Japan, and materials from Japanese manufacturers are used for zippers, buttons, and linings, ensuring that the
entire production process is completed domestically.
