In 2000, Toshinosuke Takegahara established the shoe brand, foot the coacher.


foot the coacher is a Japanese men's shoe brand.


The designer is Toshinosuke Takegahara. While still a student at an art university, he began to self-teach himself shoe-making from scratch.


In 1994, he established his own brand "Toshinosuke Takegahara".


In 1996, he designed for the British shoe brand George Cox.


From 1998, he worked on Tricker's bespoke line (made-to-order).


He returned to Japan in 1999 and launched the casual line, foot the coacher, in 2000.


The brand "Toshinosuke Takegahara" was renamed to

AUTHENTIC SHOE & Co.,

while the casual line continues as foot the coacher.


In addition to shoes, the brand also handles

apparel and accessories that propose a lifestyle.

 

 

 

 

 

We have minimized the traditional side gore boot design,

deforming it into a minimalist form.

 

By creating a minimalist design,

the quality of the material and the stylish form are highlighted even more.

 

The sole uses Vibram's GLOXICUT.
