foot the coacher
Established in 2000 by Toshiyuki Takegahara as a men's shoe brand.
The brand creates products using carefully selected high-quality materials from Japan and other countries renowned for their leather production, such as Italy, France, and the UK.
Drawing inspiration from work shoes and daily footwear worn in the early 1900s,
foot the coacher develops "the finest casual shoes," modernized according to the brand's philosophy.
The brand aims to create long-lasting products and a brand that makes no compromises on manufacturing methods or quality.
These classic open-toe sandals have been given a modern twist with a thick sole,
and feature adjustable straps on the instep and heel for a custom fit.
The upper is made from fine-grained calfskin,
while the sole is crafted with Vi-Lite from Vibram, a company founded in Italy in 1935 as a manufacturer of mountaineering boot soles.
The material used for this sole (VI-LITE) is lightweight and soft, making it suitable for outdoor activities.
