NOVESTA

The town of Partizánske in former Czechoslovakia.

In 1939, NOVESTA was quietly born

in the historic industrial area of BATA Industrial Park

in that small town.

The shoe factory specialized in rubber and canvas products.

Through the currents of history including World War II, the post-war Cold War,

the socialist era, and the dissolution of the nation, to the present day,

it has consistently produced pure Slovak footwear since its establishment,

including military, work, rubber boots, and running shoes.

In 1992, one year before the separation of Czechoslovakia,

after half a century since its founding, the factory had established itself as a leading European factory,

and launched NOVESTA, a pure Slovak sneaker brand.

Since then, NOVESTA has continued to grow as an original brand,

and has been globally promoting various collaborative projects

with brands from around the world.

NOVESTA continues to create handmade sneakers that retain

European delicacy and the rustic texture of Eastern Europe.

" MARATHON TRAIL "

A model added to NOVESTA's classic lineup since 2013.

A reproduction of classic marathon shoes from the 1950s.

It is based on the mold used for marathon shoes

for Olympic athletes in 1988.

A model using hairy leather suede with the surface nap remaining.

Also, the classic MARATHON TRAIL features a COLOR SOLE design.
