MAATEE &SONS, launched with members who have been active behind the scenes in clothing for various select shops and international brands,

proposes serious, quality clothing for adults, centered on the unique presence created by a pinch of wit.

"MAATEE &SONS," a new brand by Taiki Matsumura, known for tim. TAIKI MATSUMURA,

began in the Fall/Winter of 2019.

The brand name "MAATEE" is derived from "Matsutei" (from Matsusada Gofukuten, a kimono shop managed by Mr. Matsumura's grandfather in the past) and "Martee," a popular name in places like NY where he first started his brand.

"& SONS" signifies respect for the traditional history of clothing passed down through generations, common overseas, and the intention to inherit it in a new form, thus combined with MAATEE to form the brand name.
