Mizusawa Down, whose wear worn by athletes at the Sochi Olympics attracted attention, is a new down jacket that combines high heat retention and comfort, produced using the cutting-edge technology of the Mizusawa factory.
Conventional down jackets had drawbacks such as being vulnerable to moisture like rain and snow,
and down escaping through gaps in the stitched areas.
This Mizusawa Down is produced with a non-stitched design using advanced Japanese technology,
making it an innovative down jacket that is waterproof and can be worn even on rainy or snowy days.
Thermal bonding is applied to the stitch areas,
and seam tape is applied to areas requiring sewing, enabling unprecedented
"water resistance" and maintaining a comfortable environment inside the garment.

The "Ambit" model adopts GORE-TEX Fabric, developed by Gore, an American company,
for its Mizusawa Down jackets, providing advanced waterproofness, breathability, and durability.
Among GORE-TEX product technologies,
this performance model uses GORE-TEX 30d RIP-STOP NYLON, known for its lightness and compactness.

In addition to high waterproof performance due to thermal bonding and seam taping,
all of Gore's technological capabilities combine durability, breathability, and wind resistance
to cope with harsh environments and conditions.

and strict management using serial numbers makes it possible
to track the entire sourcing process of all feathers.
